WHY????

Why do I go to work? By the time I leave I'm ready to just ram my head into a wall. I don't only because with my luck, I'd end up putting my head through the wall and then have to pay for it to be repaired.

I don't obtain any life changing information by going to work. I do learn that I'm a negative person, who is no longer allowed to swear in my department, no jokes, no stories, no interaction would be preferred.

People are stupid, plain and simple. I was told I need to treat my coworkers like adults, because that's what we are. Yet I was given the silent treatment all day, because I apparently said bad things to them. Whatever.

I see what this particular person is trying to do, they've seen something done and they think it's going to work for them. Well that's fine, play your little game, get out of working with me, I'd prefer that anyways.

I hate people. Yea I'm done.

Lawsuit Central

So awhile ago I posted an article asking if I could sue people just because they were stupid. I mean they're allowed to sue for pouring coffee in their laps, tripping over their own children, and other unbelievable things, so why can't I sue for them being stupid.

But that's not the point of this article. Actually I wanted to add a new one to that stupidity list. I was watching TV this morning and heard a story about a woman who is suing a casino because she lost all her money and nobody at the casino told her that she should stop gambling.

Sadly there will be a lawyer to take this case and it will end up in court. She will more than likely win. I will be floored by that decision. But will really consider suing her because I had to endure her stupidity, plus that of everyone involved in the trial.

People are you just that brain dead. I mean, for the love of God, you can't possibly be that freakin' stupid. Can you? I make fun of blonds all the time, but the track record for these frugal lawsuits don't even involve blonds.

What is happening to society? Can't people just use common sense. Maybe start listening to that tiny voice that says "hey idiot, STOP!!!"

I really just don't get it.

Why Can't It Just Be Simple

Can someone just please do what I ask them to? I ask for one of our maintenance guys to get a box so I can load '07 paperwork into it for storage. He's done nothing but sit back in my section talking for the last hour, it wasn't going to hurt anyone if he did it. Yet the person he asked said I have to personally come up and ask her for the box and that I'm not allowed to make requests like this of others.

This is BS. I was assigned to be a work coordinator by my supervisor, no maintenance is not where I'm assigned but since his designated coordinator was out and we both share the same supervisor, who was also out, why can't I make this simple request? Oh wait I know why not, because some stupid woman just can't let anyone else make a decision, she's the only one. If she thinks I'm going to go up and ask her for a records box, she's out of her mind.

And even though the maintenance guy said he tried his best to get the box, I'm aware of what really went down. He told her that he told me that I had to do it but that I demanded it of him. You should never lie to someone when you know someone I have contact with throughout the day is sitting right in front of you to hear the whole thing.

This coordinator thing is not working with anyone. The other lab tech working with me doesn't believe I have the authority to do anything either. I tell her something, she argues, I eventually give up. Nine out of ten times the situations with her ends up with her screwing something up and telling me that she should have listened to me because I was right.

Why not start with that fact, I am usually right. I've been doing this job for three years and I know what the heck is going on. So why not listen to me at the start.

Life would be so much simpler if everyone would just listen.

Idiot Sightings!!!! Be careful, be v-e-r-y careful....

This was an email I received from a friend a few weeks back and feel this should be shared with as many people as possible. The sad thing is, many of you will read these and see nothing wrong with what you just read. Either way, I say enjoy.

IDIOT SIGHTING: Hubby and I had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener. I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower. He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2
was larger than 1/4. He said, 'NO, it's not. Four is larger than two.' We haven't used Sears repair since.

IDIOT SIGHTING: I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. The reason: 'Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore.' From Kingman , KS

IDIOTS IN FOOD SERVICE: My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.' He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg. He was a Chef? Yep...From Kansas City !

IDIOT SIGHTING: I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, 'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?' To which I replied, 'If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?' He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.'
Happened in Birmingham , Ala.

IDIOT SIGHTING: The stoplight on the corner buzzes when its safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, 'What on earth are blind people doing driving?!' She was a probation officer in Wichita , KS

IDIOT SIGHTING: At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker: She was leaving the company due to 'downsizing.' Our manager commented cheerfully, 'This is fun. We should do this more often.' Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a bunch at Texas Instruments.

IDIOT SIGHTING: I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself, and for the sake of her own life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office no less.

IDIOT SIGHTING: When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver's side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'Its open!' His reply, 'I know - I already got that side.'
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton , Mississippi !
