WHY????

Why do I go to work? By the time I leave I'm ready to just ram my head into a wall. I don't only because with my luck, I'd end up putting my head through the wall and then have to pay for it to be repaired.

I don't obtain any life changing information by going to work. I do learn that I'm a negative person, who is no longer allowed to swear in my department, no jokes, no stories, no interaction would be preferred.

People are stupid, plain and simple. I was told I need to treat my coworkers like adults, because that's what we are. Yet I was given the silent treatment all day, because I apparently said bad things to them. Whatever.

I see what this particular person is trying to do, they've seen something done and they think it's going to work for them. Well that's fine, play your little game, get out of working with me, I'd prefer that anyways.

I hate people. Yea I'm done.

Why Can't It Just Be Simple

Can someone just please do what I ask them to? I ask for one of our maintenance guys to get a box so I can load '07 paperwork into it for storage. He's done nothing but sit back in my section talking for the last hour, it wasn't going to hurt anyone if he did it. Yet the person he asked said I have to personally come up and ask her for the box and that I'm not allowed to make requests like this of others.

This is BS. I was assigned to be a work coordinator by my supervisor, no maintenance is not where I'm assigned but since his designated coordinator was out and we both share the same supervisor, who was also out, why can't I make this simple request? Oh wait I know why not, because some stupid woman just can't let anyone else make a decision, she's the only one. If she thinks I'm going to go up and ask her for a records box, she's out of her mind.

And even though the maintenance guy said he tried his best to get the box, I'm aware of what really went down. He told her that he told me that I had to do it but that I demanded it of him. You should never lie to someone when you know someone I have contact with throughout the day is sitting right in front of you to hear the whole thing.

This coordinator thing is not working with anyone. The other lab tech working with me doesn't believe I have the authority to do anything either. I tell her something, she argues, I eventually give up. Nine out of ten times the situations with her ends up with her screwing something up and telling me that she should have listened to me because I was right.

Why not start with that fact, I am usually right. I've been doing this job for three years and I know what the heck is going on. So why not listen to me at the start.

Life would be so much simpler if everyone would just listen.
